Amritara Jawai Resort

The location is a big sell, as the property is set right by Jawai lake/dam. It was a simple walk down to see the Sarus cranes, flamingo and many other shore birds. As it is the only lodge right by the lake shore, it is indisputably ideally located, if you like birds as I do. The hills form the backdrop abutting the resort, and watching -and shooting; the peafowl and the Hanuman langurs was a daily delight. The leopard safaris were also great fun, and I was very fortunate to see the nilgai and the Indian Eagle Owl.
